The VARGEN & THOR Modell Yb is a frying pan built for daily use and special occasions in equal measure — the heat performance of real copper with the practicality of a PFOA-free Froststick non-stick coating. Fast, even heat distribution, crispy searing, and easy cleaning. A pan that performs and looks the part on any stovetop.

Genuine copper, 2.5mm aluminium core

The exterior is genuine copper — not copper-coloured, but real copper that heats faster than any other cookware material and responds immediately to temperature changes. The 2.5mm aluminium core distributes heat evenly across the full 28cm base, eliminating hot spots. The chrome-plated 201 stainless steel handle is heat-resistant and stays comfortable at high temperatures. Copper naturally oxidises over time and can be restored with copper polish or lemon and salt.

PFOA-free Froststick coating

The Froststick coating is PTFE-based, food-safe, and completely PFOA-free — excellent searing performance combined with reliable non-stick release and easy cleaning. Heat gradually for best results; lower heat settings are often sufficient compared to traditional pans. Oven safe. Dishwasher safe up to 50°C, though handwashing is recommended to preserve the copper finish.
