FUDO Glass noodle vermicelli 1 kg

Glass noodles are named for what happens in the pot: pale, opaque strands become soft and translucent as they cook. FUDO vermicelli are made with corn, pea and mung bean starches, with a neutral flavour that lets a good broth, dressing or stir-fry sauce take the lead. They are starch noodles, not rice noodles.

For soup, salads and spring rolls

Add to a tofu and vegetable soup, toss with a tangy dressing and crisp vegetables, or use in spring roll fillings. For a simple supper, serve softened noodles beneath a saucy stir-fry and let them soak up its flavour without frying them separately.

How to prepare
For dishes other than soup, soak in hot water for a few minutes until softened before using. They need only a short cooking time on the hob; avoid overcooking so they do not become too soft.
