The CUNG knife is the large-format Asian chef's knife built for cooks who mean business. Its 21 cm carbon steel blade is wide, perfectly balanced, and sharp enough to handle the toughest produce — pumpkins, sweet potatoes, cassava, thick cuts of meat — with precision and ease. The wide blade doubles as a food transporter: one swish and everything goes straight into the pan.

Use it for chopping hard vegetables, slicing meat, finely cutting herbs, or portioning larger pieces. One knife, every technique.

Each CUNG knife is made entirely by hand by small family businesses in Vietnam. The cedar wood handle is hand-carved, and the blades are cut with large tin snips without punching — a traditional method that gives every knife its own individual character. Minor cosmetic variations are a natural result of this process and a mark of authenticity, not a defect.
